E70 pre lci ambient lighting

Hello.

I have a question. Has anyone done some ambient light mod on x5? I know they have some amber light on the door pockets but they are very dimmed out. I know newer f series have cool lighting but maybe some options for the old one?
Dont realy find any good kits for it. I allready am planning spido cluster to replaces by white leds.

Any good solutions?

Best regards
T.

The fancy-dancy light strips in the F15 on the doors and dash are useless in open country driving. We keep them switched off as all our roads are unlit and we have herds of deer swarming about all over. The strips may look cool when there is a lot of external ambient lighting but are nothing more than a distraction in our area.
Had there been a choice I would not have ordered it. Then there is the cost when the stupid thing fail.

I put these in our 335; they are not as bright as they appear in the pictures. They look pretty good.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I plan to add these to the X5. I'll try to get some pictures.

Change the colour to red which does not affect night vision.

I only ever use red/orange but it is still distracting so I turned it off.
