Thoughts on this 2009 BMW X5 xDrive35d?
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...7872/overview/ Forgot to add, is there anyway to verify is all recalls were performed? https://www.carcomplaints.com/BMW/X5/2009/recalls/ |

Bad link in your post, try this:
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...7872/overview/ Unbelievably poor images ...did they use a free camera from a cereal box?!? I mean they are utterly useless to see if there is any damage or defect..laughable. Just keep in mind that 'all recalls' is the very least of your concerns. and there is a button in the add that lists them- there are no 'missing' recalls. Consider calling the two shops that saw it last (listed in the carfax). You might get lucky. "Don't want to pry, but if you could wave me off of a problem I'd sure appreciate it" (The rest of the 'data' in carfax is semi useless....) I will add it looks like the ATF and belts were serviced at 100k. (It just says pan, not ATF- but, well, carfax) So some evidence it might have been an owner that was pretty diligent? Get a PPI unless you can do it. How far away is it? |

Thanks for the info. Car is a little over 100 miles away. I'll see if they'll allow a PPI by an INDY shop. If they balk I walk.
