Front fan heating and ac fan not working

I have a 2009 X5 35D and the front climate control fan won't come on. Fan buttons work and show fan ramping up but no front fan at all. Rear fan does work. I have error codes showing on my Foxwell scanner. Automatic heating/air conditioning KLIMA Fault2. Also 9C4A IHKA Dynamic pressure flap motor and 9C4C IHKA footwell flap motor left. Any suggested starting points?

Usual culprit is the FSU. I just had to replace mine. Did you have any symptoms before total failure? Eg my fan would cut out occasionally before it died.

Foxwell can command the blower on so test that. If foxwell can turn on the blower the problem can be in the controller etc.

Don't remember seeing any symptoms. Just one day it wouldn't come on. I'll try to run fan from Foxwell scanner.

So I tried to command the fan, it wouldn't come on. I checked the flappers and all of them were at 50% and I tried to move them they didn't respond either. Is there a way to check the controller or should i try replacing the FSU?

Another observation. When i activated to rear controls the fan came on. When i activated the front controls, the fan will not respond.

There is a second fan for back seat. Are you saying the front blower came on when using rear control?

I suspect the FSU. There are some very rare alternatives but almost always l when you suddenly have no blower it's FSU.

Could it be the fan motor?

Can be. Odds 5%. Usually before blower goes it will act up. Noises, stutter start etc. They rarely blink out.

Somebody knows the pinout you can supply 12v to Direct test the blower.

Andrew, yes I had activated the rear control so that makes sense I failed to mention that in my earlier post. I'm gonna order the FSU. Do you have a recommended supplier?
