Aux Belt Tensioner Removal

HI, new here
Got A 2008 UK Spec X5 E70 3.0 with the M57n2 engine, purchased a non runner and got it trailered home, charged the battery and the timing chain has snapped.
So far I've been doing OK but I am unable to remove the belt tensioner, I have removed the 2 torx screws but it wont budge, I have tapped it from the back but still no movement, I must be missing something??
Think this engine isn't too common as all guides are for different tensioners.
Anyone able to help?
Pics of my tensioner below.
