What Spark Plug for N52 30i? Post or From 12/2009

I'm looking at the NGK plug LZFR6AP-11GS for my January 2010 built X5 30i. But I'm not sure that it will fit.

It looks like the plug design or something changed in December 2009. So, N52 up to 12/2009 use plug PLZFR6A11S (NGK).

Link to that one: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...wer-plzfr6a11s

I assume the LZFR6AP-11GS is not going to work with my 1/2010 produced X5.

However, ECS tuning shows that it fits "all N52 3.0"

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ngk-part...20037663ngkkt/

A friend of mine checked WorldPac and said that it does not show LZFR6AP-11GS for a post 12/2009 3.0i.

If all of that makes sense.

Long story short: what NGK plug will work for me? "From 12/2009"

RealOEM lists the LZFR6AP11GS for the N52 "from 12/2009", so I'd go with that.

And have no concern using NGK plugs. I use Laser Platinums in my M5 with no problems. Bosch Platinum +4s are okay. Denso makes a good plug, also.

Ah yes, thank you. I didn't think to check realOEM. You're right, it is showing LZFR6AP11GS "from 12/2009".

I only use NGK in all my cars since 2003. Not a fan of Bosch plugs at all.

Same. NGK iridiums only for my Bimmers. But plug preferences border on the "best oil to use" type of discussions...
