2013 x5m to install OEM running boards? Yay or Nay?

Is it possible to install running boards from the 07 e70 onto 2013 x5m?

I have running boards, but hate them on the e70. They will always smear your pants with whatever ... Mud, water, etc..

They are only decorative and not functional and I would just not install them.

If you read the post again, never did it ask whether running boards were a good option, no?

Agree. They're too short to do anything but the X5 is low.enough you don't need them anyway. I'd rather have no running boards and just curved body panel finishers in their place.

Anyway, I found out that it fits. Also, my little ones will be able to climb inside a lot easier.

You ladies have a great day.

I think the title of the thread with yay or nay could easily be confused. It sounded like you were asking for opinions. But you got the answer you needed which is good.
