Tie rod torque settings.
Hi all. Despite lots of googling I am struggling to find an absolute torque wrench setting for x5 40d 2011. Found everything from 51-80nm for the nut on tie rod end or track rod end ball joint.

Can anyone help please. GT

When I replaced mine, I got the info from TIS.

Type Tightening specification Thread Measure
1AZ Tie rod to rack E70, E70M/E71, E71M/E72 110 Nm
2AZ Track rod end to track rod E70, E70M/E71, E71M/E72 51 Nm
3AZ Track rod end to swivel bearing
E70, E70M/E71, E71M/E72,
M14 Replace nut 80 Nm
