Removing bottom air duct (E70)

A few days ago I was trying to gain access to the TC tensioner to replace it. When I got to the point to remove the lower air duct on the right side it appeared to be stuck on the inlet. I did not want to force or break it and something else came up so I just put everything back together and decided to address it some other time.
- Just to confirm, once I remove the 10mm bolt that holds it I should be able to just twist and wiggle it off the inlet port, correct?
- Should I expect the gasket be deteriorated and order one just in case or they typically don't need replacement after 10 years of age.
