4BDC DDE: FUEL PRESUPPLY PRESUPPLY CONTROL

Howdy,

2009 X5 35d. 157,000 miles ... owned from new !!

Because i'm now at DPF end of life according to the count down clock, i'm proactively monitoring regens and total ash accumulated, since thats the only way you can make sure its still working correctly.

However, lately ive noticed a recurring code popping up.

4BDC DDE: FUEL PRESUPPLY CONTROL

I can clear it, and it does go away but will ultimately will come back in 3 or 4 days of driving. The car seems to drive OK, but there are some very random times when on accelerating normally it can get a bit shuddery for a very short period.

Any ideas from anyone. I've seen this code before with a combination of other fuel system related codes from folks on the forums, but never on its own. Maybe this is a forewarning of something to come. I just don't want the fuel system to entirely shutdown and then i'm stuffed.

Thanks.
