Yeah and it also would depend on if there is room to attach that mount to the hitch while keeping the plug accessible.

I ordered the wide Curt one as it mounts over the 2" hitch without any drilling. Should be here tomorrow so I'll mount it and report back.

What hitch do you have? Can you post a pic?

I have a U-Haul unit that I got from a pick-a-part for $37.
I'll post a picture tomorrow.

That's a great find. U-Haul usually has solid brand like Curt.

I posted the pictures of the hitch (without cleaning it up so there is rust) with the Curt mount installed in this post on the other forum (Bimmerfest). I was planning on installing it this past Sunday but after installing some additional Christmas lights I started to work on it around 2:00 PM. Finished the 2nd coat of POR-15 around 7:00 PM so it looks like this Saturday will be the day.
