Headliner removal at the junk yard...... HELP ??

Found a black headliner but the vehicle is dead (no motor and no electrical). To remove the sunroof panels under the glass, I believe you need to have the sunroof glass moved all the way back (?!?!). Possible given this vehicle has no electrical power ?? Is there a manual way to do this ?? Or am I outta luck?

Hah..... also opening the rear hatch to pull off the seal....... of course considering the thing has no power. Is there a manual way to open the rear hatch ?

With regards to the sunroof, under the front controls I think you can insert a hex tool and manual move the sunroof. Just not 100% sure how that all works yet......

Rear hatch....... apparently a tab in the middle and half way up that pops off and you use a screw driver to pop the hatch !

Successfully removed the headliner ...... finished up the removal in the dark last night...... forgot to remove the sunroof panels and the rear window black plastic..... my plastic trim on the rear window is that sh*tty grey. Anyways, back I have to go today.

Anyone have any "how-to's" for those sunroof panels ??

I'm in the process of replacing the panoramic sunroof on my e83.
Using one from the boneyard.
Just cleared off the headline panel of all the old decaying adhesive. Now I'm deciding if i want to change the material fabric or spray paint the header panel.

I'm sure this is too late for you but yes, have the TIS instructions. Let me know if you want them.

If I had my headliner and panels out, I'd re-cover in black Alcantara.
