Android Auto/Apple Car Play upgrade - Andream, AVIN, Bimmertech, Other

In thinking about upgrading the stock iDrive and NAV, to support Android Auto. I am not sure if I will retrofit the existing screen, or replace the screen, but after reading tons of threads, I am still unsure of the differences or caveats among Andream, AVIN, Bimmertech, Other. It sounds like the platforms have improved over time.

What has your experience been?
I have an e70 with the tech package, so side cams, at mirrors, front bumper, and rear. I want all of the cameras to work, and it seems some mention replacing the rear camera, as well as adding a front camera. Do I need to replace the rear camera?

Can I leverage the existing microphone?

Whatever you do don't use Avin. I had a horrible experience with them and after 3 to 4 weeks of troubleshooting via email (it takes a day to get a response from them) I sent it back. I had the dreaded "No Signal" issue and nothing I did resolved it.
