swapping '08 comfort seats in '11 base seats .. any Help?

Hi,

my dad just purchased a 2011 diesel with basic power/heat seats and though it would be wise to get him the multi comfort seats. Found a set but from a 2008..

wondering if anyone knows from experience the Coding I will need to do and wiring that it might need for the seats to function properly and have no cel lights.. I do have the connector leads as it was cut from the floor, so that might be of great help if i have to add wires.

I searched on google and see some old threads with "different" methods, so maybe there is one person on here who can actual attest to how it should be done.

for anyone thinking of doing same thing, its possible, but lots of work from my understanding.
The LCI models changed the wiring positions and the Module itself. The old Module might work, but you would need to adjust the main plug layout, and even then its questionable if the it will be recognized.

So, to make things much easier, keep the seats from same models (pre LCI or LCI). That way, the only issue is programming and not much else.
