BMW x5 e70 4.8i

Hello members. I own a 2009 x5 4.8i. The last few months been having nothing but issues with electrical. Started with all 4 cam sensor and crank sensor signals voltage high and after unplugging the battery and checking for shorts i traced the wires that led to the cam sensors and crank sensors to the fuse box on the passenger side glove box fuses # 35,36,42,43 are not getting power with key on. Also My wipers are staying on with key and no display or hvac or lift gate buttons working at all?

IVM is the first culprit with random voltage problem witg v8 that series.

Also one hint you gave is can be ignition switch.

Ivm?

Question though. Do the v8s x5 e70’s have a IVM ? I can’t seem to find a diagram or a picture of it for the v8s. I Know the 6cyl have them

WAG:

How are your ground straps??? These can rot, create intermittent faults.

Google 'e70 ground straps'... The bond between motor and chassis ....

He's a hint. On my phone i can't see more than a corner of the wiring diagram at a time.

Problem resolved guys

So after finally having some time last weekend to take a second look. I went right to the dme connectors and unplugged them one by one being careful to inspect both the connector and dme pins and boom 💥 found the issue on connector x60003 pin#27 was completely broken off and inside the connector. Pin#27 is the famous crank sensor signal. Thanks guys for the help guys 🙏
