rear wiper not working. Checked fuses/relays and another a spare motor

Front wiper motors work fine, rear motor stopped. Although the rear washer fluid spray works


I checked the fuses and relays and those seem to work. I also even got a spare wiper motor from a salvage yard and tested it before changing it out, but it didn't work either - which leads me to believe there is no power going to the motor


I can hear the relay kicking in when i turn on the rear wiper, but nothing. I did notice that the relay click sound is not as strong as the front wiper - but when i swapped them, fronts still worked



Not sure what the issue is, anyone have ideas?

Check to see if there is power going to the motor. It's entirely possible that the one from the wrecker is no good either. You could check for a burned smell and if you take the cover off check for a burned driver chip.

Open your visor and see if the light works and even if it does: look for another weird thing like abs light on dash.

Often the first symptom of a bad ignition switch is the rear wiper malfunction.

80s is correct though check for power. New ≠ fixed and wrecker part definitely doesn't!
