Passenger rear clunking noise every full wheel rotation
Parking brake seems to work well, but will have to remove the rotors to confirm if the shoes are on correctly https://streamable.com/8p469u **Adding 2 extra videos under the car while driving https://streamable.com/e060ow https://streamable.com/ggtwo8 Last edited by esevx5; 12-27-2025 at 06:51 PM. |

Bump, the noise seems to happen only when i press the gas pedal/drive. When cruising, the noise is no longer there, which makes me think parking brake is not the issue
*Update, wife tells me she hit a curb hard recently, by going over a parking divider with front and rear passenger side. I looked at the rear wheel and it looks like it could be bent. Is there a way to tell for sure? Could a slide angle difference in the wheel cause this? https://ibb.co/1J0Jp7WN https://ibb.co/XZX6m864 https://ibb.co/HfTSDHWD https://ibb.co/yF84zQtg Here are some pics comparing rear driver vs passenger side. The passenger side appears to be caved in a bit vs driver, which is out more Last edited by esevx5; 12-27-2025 at 07:45 PM. |

How many miles?
My E34 w/176K would do this. Issue seemed to be a worn CV joint. I could make it go away temporarily by putting rear on jack stands and running in drive. This stretches the axle and seems to redistribute the grease.

Yea i'm thinking it is the CV axle now based on further research. Already ordered and will attempt to fix it asap |
