Alternator noise - on its way out?
This noise stated today and seems to come from the alternator. I think its still the original alternator https://streamable.com/gjp4j5 Could anyone confirm that has been in this situation before? |

Ooh that's a horrible noise. Remove the serpentine belt and spin each belt driven accessory by hand. Hopefully you can find it.

The thing is, that I had just changed all the belts and pulleys less than 15K miles ago, so unlikely any of those components
But ill give it a try |

Any of the spinning parts can be the source. It sounds like bad bearing: PS pump, alternator, AC. Take off serp it disconnects all at once.
