I will hold my opinion till they remove all the tape. They have very cleverly put the tape to hide the key body lines and accents. I doubt they will move to plastic from current colored bumpers, knowing that BMW had to change the US model X3 to colored bumpers just 2 year after release.

Forgetting for a moment about the tape and disguise, if I can't be sure whether I'm looking at an X3 or an X5, BMW may have a marketing problem here...it's looking a bit like a Volvo, but I'm saving my vote until I see it in person.
