Is Mineral Green a new color or is it available on other BMW models?

Out of all the E70 colors my wife and I are only interested in 3 of them: Space Gray, Platinum Bronze, and Mineral Green. Of coarse 2 out of those 3 colors are going to have a delayed SOP: Platinum Bronze SOP 12/06, Mineral Green (SOP 4/07).

I am trying to visualize the E70 in those three colors to decide which one would be most to our likeing. Space Gray is easy, since all the publicity pics are appearetnly in that color. Platinum Bronze is appearently a new X3 color which we have pictures of. That leaves the Mineral Green. Does anyone know if it is available on any current BMW model? If not, how about the upcoming facelifted X3 or the E92?

We want to place an order for an E70, but we would like to at least see pictures of the Mineral Green (even on another model) before we decide. Not that we would want to wait until SOP of 4/07 for that color, but you never know, we may see a picture and feel it's worth waiting for, or we would hate it which would make it easier to order one of the other two.

If anyone has any info about Mineral Green we would appreciate hearing (or seeing) it.

SPACE GRAY

PLATINUM BRONZE

Toyota (Lexus) do a Mineral Green for almost all of their cars...It actually looks like a Silver with a tiny bit of green thrown in..Not really a fan of it, but it might look better on the e70...

Its a new color, no-one really knows what its going to look like though...

Its debuting on the E70 and will spread to the other lines. Its supposed to replace the older light green color that existed on BMW's before that was Sage Green on the 7 and I can't remember the light green on the E46.

BMW always has two greens, a light and a dark. The current dark being Deep Green which is available across the lineup.

My personal favorite BMW green of all time I must say is Oxford Green...

Mineral green is a new color and it is like blueish sea green per what I have heard. The official brochure with colors will be out soon.

so is Mineral Green similar to Arctic on the e90? I have yet to see Arctic in person b/c its a rare color, but I've seen it looks like a metllic silver with hints of green.

My wife has an Arctic 330. In the full sun it is light green with a hint of silver. In the garage under florescent, it is more of a light green.

I think mineral green will be a real solid green color, instead of a color changing color like artic is...

Look for a light green...
