New E70 premieres at Paris Auto Show ???

1). Latest update from "Autonews" is that new X5 will not be at the Paris Auto Show ... article claims that new X5 is now destined to premiere at Los Angeles in November.

I still remember that prior to the premier of the E60 M5, a M5 concept was shown in a couple of car shows beforehand. Why can't they show a E70 X5 concept at Paris and have the real thing shown in LA in Nov?

AFAIK, BMW has always said the LA show. Lots of other rumours have floated around, illustrating that just because something is posted on the net it isn't necessarily true.

Aside from that, why would BMW debut the E70 anywhere but in their largest market, North America?

I went to my dealership to talk to my salebuddy (this is in Switzerland) and he told me it would debut in the US then it would come to Europe. I dont understand why they're doing this. He wasnt 100% sure if the car was going to be at the paris auto show.
