Tracking ordered vehicle - Canada?

Is there an on-line way to track my ordered E70 by the VIN as it goes through the production and shipment cycle? My X5 will be delivered in Canada.

Try registering with the BMW Owners Circle on the BMWUSA website. It allows members to track their car based on VIN number or Production Number. Here's the link to the account set-up page. I'm not sure if it will allow non-U.S. owners to register, but you can give it a try.

Thanks for the tip but it seems that Canadian Production #'s will not work on the US website:
"Your Production Number does not match our database."

On The Canadian BMW Owners Circle, there is no place to enter Production # ... only the VIN # which I do not have yet.

PS: Further Production delays have pushed my X5 4.8 out to week 50.

how to u know your production have been delayed? btw when is week 50?

1). Week 50 = approx week starting Dec 11-15.
I also assume that the SpartanburgPlant shuts down for at least 5 days on Week 52 [Dec 25-29].

2). My original production date was suppose to be the beginning of Dec.

3). With all new BMW products ... Patience is a virtue

did u get this info off your dealer? i am suppose to get my car end of nov or early dec, so my car should be in production or finish production by now?

Got the bad news this morning from my dealer since I do not have access to an on-line Production Status system .... I'm still sitting on status # 112 "Order scheduled for production".

grr that sux, at least u still can change your order if u want to, mine was locked in a month ago, and i didn't add running borad damn..
