Smile When is x5 available in the UK

Hi all,

I am planning on getting the a new car soon and the new X5 is top of my list. Does anybody know when the X5 is available in the UK and what the likely waiting time is to get one ?

Many thanks in advance.

You should be able to pick one up during the first week in March...apparently. I was told the release date is March 8th. Not sure how accurate that was..

if you're after a diesel prepare yourself for a wait as my dealer has taken over 70 £1k deposits on the diesels.
if you want a petrol you will get one straight away.

The official launch date in April 28th, you will not get one before then. I've managed to get myself to 2nd on my Dealer's list, so I should pick mine up on launch-day. I understand that most dealers have a large waiting list and no certainty around their short to medium term allocations. In some areas it may be difficult to get one during 2007 esp if you're looking for a diesel.

In my UK brochure the colours are the same as the US/Canadian options, Though the Nappa leather in beige and black is not available till 2nd quarter 2007.

Exterior colours are Alpine White, Jet Black both non-metallic. Titanium Silver, Black Sapphire, Monaco Blue, Deep green, Space Grey, Platinum Bronze.

Interior is Nevada leather, Standard on 4.8i in Black, Grey, Beige, Camel, Tobacco, Saddle Brown.
Perforated nevada in black and beige

And twillcloth in Anthracite for 3.0is and 3.0i

Tobacco in Exclusive Nappa.

Interior colurs in Black, Beige, Grey and Tobacco.

Trim in Dark Walnut, Light Popular, Dark Bamboo, Brushed Aluminium.

Dealer did say a couple of weeks ago that I could order late December or Early January if I was still interested for a collection in late April. (I have had a deposit down for over a year, as a lot of people do)

Thanks for the info!!! It appears that bown color being shown here and there is the Saddle brown. The color options are different for the euro e.8 and the N.A. 4.8. Looks like there are a few more choices... Thanks again!
