Arggg stuck waiting for to be released to carrier
<rant>
I've been stuck in waiting to release to carrier for a week so my 4.8 has basically been sitting at the factory waiting to get loaded on a train. It now looks like there is no way I will get it before the end of the year as it still has to go through: 1) transit to VPC 2) VPC prep ~ 20 days ! 3) Trucking to Washington state So much for early Dec delivery. Having only 1 car for 2 people during this wait is making me want to just forget about it and go get something else that I can walk of a lot with. It literally took less time to get my M3 built and shipped from Germany to Los Angeles. </rant> |

Mine is in production right now and date is 12/13....According to my dealer it should be in their lot following week and I will have the possession before end of the year....I don't think they will rail this to Seattle...They will put this on a truck and should be there in 4 days in dealers parking lot.

My understanding is all west coast bound cars:
Get railed from plant to VPC in Southern California. VPC preps car (told this runs ~ 20 days) Car is then trucked to dealer (3-4 days to WA) I hope you are right though. Where are you located? |
