Rustproofing the X5

Dealer wants to know if he can sell me rustproofing for the new X5. Some product called Sym-Tech. Anybody know anything about this product. Do I even need it? I live up here near Toronto Canada so lots of snow, slush and salt.

Take the dough the Stlr was going to charge you,
throw 3 darts at the financial section of your paper and,
put that money into those 3 "picks". By the time you
ever, (if you ever), see rust on your X, you will be
way ahead of the game.

don't get it. Although Toronto salt can be bad, you're better off just visiting your local touch free car wash every week or so during the winter season .. Make sure the undercarriage gets blasted, as well. These "rust proofing" things are money that isn't well spent. Go with MD's idea
