November 2006 X Series Sales Report
For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold a total of 6,778 trucks this month, up 57.0% from the 4,317 sold last November. The significant improvement in MB sales is attributable to the intro of the R Class in 2005 and the GL Class this year. Please note that I only report the United States sales data. So does this mean we can have some wiggle room on the 07 X5 price?

BMW has lost about 3% market share
BMW has lost about 3% market share and considering the experience my wife had with buying her 2006 330 and replacing that with another 2006 330 5 months after she bought it, I'm not surprised. BMW has sacrificed their brand to the likes of AutoNation ( which owns the dealership). My wife was a long time Volvo customer, the 330 was her first and last BMW starting with buying experience up to the replacement. A letter to BMW ( north america and munich) and dealerr went unanswered. I'm on my 2nd x5 but have to agree with BMW is not what it use to be.
