Rear Climate Pkg WILL NOT come with the shades??

My dealer just told me my 2007 X5 4.8 Rear Climate Package WILL NOT come with Rear side-window manual sunshades!! He told me the factory is having problems with the sunshades. Can anyone please confirm?

Confirmed, dealer here in Germany said the same back in October. They are now a seperate option.

Hi,

same here, not available, can not be ordered, even they were shown on the pictures. Afaik mounting them afterwards it´s pretty complicate or impossible, or so it was in the E53??(don´t remember well).

I took delivery last Dec 18th and the manual sunshade was taken out on the Rear Climate package. the dealer adjusted the price.

How much less did you pay for the Rear Climate Package?

Dealer will deduct $200.00 for the shade that makes the pkg. cost $700.00

Dealer told me that the Italian company who makes the sunshades, made them in the wrong size....Must be the same company who makes ignition coils for Audi.
