Rear Seat Entertainment Package

Hi folks. I am a new member to the board. I just took delivery of my E70 X5 on 1-5-07 at the Spartanburg PDC. I was a 530i guy before that. Actually I still have my 2004 silver gray 530i.

My question is related to the RSE. The brochure and website info states that wireless headphones are included in the package. I did not receive any headphones. When I asked about them at delivery at the PDC, I was told that they were not included. At the time, I couln't remember if I had read that they were or were not included, so I didn't press the issue.
So, does anyone with the RSE option actually have the infrared headphones?
Between the missing headphones and the missing window shades from the Rear Climate package, I'm feeling a little "shorted"
Suggestions?

The european documentation mentions that the IR headphones are NOT included.

ECJX5 Also had problems with the headphone being left out, but he had said is dealer ordered them for him after he told him they were suppose to be included.

"Rear Seat Entertainment
Rear-seat entertainment lets passengers in the rear cabin watch DVDs or listen to their choice of CDs through headphone jacks. The system features a fold-down 8-inch color screen, six-CD/DVD Multmedia Changer, a pair of wireless headphones, and headphone jacks; it can be controlled via the iDrive controller, a wireless remote control, or manually, by the rear-seat passengers."


Did they at least refund you the $200 dollars for the rear shades?

That is unbelievably cheesy to not include wireless headphones. I would definitely go back to your dealer and show them the information from BMW's site. Total
