Smile Extended warranty pricing...

Hi all,

Does anyone knows what is the price range for the 6 years or 100,000 miles extended warranty for the E70? I know that the pricing is varies from dealer to dealer, is it negotiable?

My baby blk/blk X5 with premium package, technology package, rear climate package, and running boards is at the preparation center now. Any idea how long it will takes to transport from SC to Southern Calif.? I just can't wait.

I will post pix will it comes.

You have 4yr/50K OEM so why give BMWNA your money now. If you decide to keep the X longer than this than buy the extended warranty at that point.

(And yes, everything is negotiable at the delaership , less profit margin on warranties, but negotiable none the less)

No kidding, since you're the original owner you can buy the extended crap up till 4 years and 49,999.9 miles.

Wait till then since the first model year E70 is bound to have issues, make sure you want to keep it after 50K.

But you might want to start the process at around 48k to give yourself a little negotiating time. That's my plan...

I was told that buying the warranty at time of sale was cheaper.

Not sure how true that is.

No, same cost after the fact unless your dealer is a total prick
