Talking Ready To Buy - Your Thoughts

Have test driven the MB GL 450 & 320CDI, Audi Q7, Acura MDX, Lexus 350 & X5.
.
We were blown away by the X5.
.
I liked the MDX and for the money it leaves a good impression - but not in the same class as the X5. The MB 320CDI get excellent mileage and solid ride - but just dosen't connect to the road nor excite.
.
So my wife and I are sold. This will be our first BMW. I currently drive a
VW Passat 1.8T and purchased it for the same reasons we liked the X5. (A poor man's 325i).
.
We are looking at a Space Grey 3.0si, Prem Package, NAV, Heated F/Seats, Black Nevada, 3rd Row with the Roof.
.
Sould we expect to pay MSRP?

Thoughts Appreciated.

Congrats! You should expect to pay 1500-2000 below MSRP

I completely agree with you...the MDX is not in the same class as the X5...don't know why people keep comparing them

consider your options when you're paying somewhat over invoice

Good choice!

Without much effort I was able to get 1500 over invoice for a 3.0 with a good deal of package options. That was just after Christmas for a custom build and I received it one month later. Dec and Jan are reputed to be slow months for dealers.

The Sports package brings the X5 to a new level. The ride is IMPROVED over the std suspension. Amazing.
