Jet Black! Nothing looks better than a clean jet black car. Saphire looks like there is always a dirty film on top of the car. I had the same issue when trying to decide.

We chose Black Sapphire because a family member recently purchased a Jet Black 328xi and says that it's REALLY hard to keep clean. Since this will be a daily driver, it is going to get dirty. If you don't mind the dirt factor, go with Jet Black... it's very sharp!

Jet Black is more of a matte finish whereas black sapphire metallic is more glossy. Having experienced both, jet black shows scratch and swirl marks a thousand times faster and worse than the black sapphire metallic. Personally I'd take a car that always looked a little dirty (can't wash it daily after all) versus a car that looked all scratched up.

The metallic has so much more depth. Hands down Sapphire...soo much more classy.
