I knew it!

I spoke with the dealer on 2/7 after finding out from the 1-800 hotline that production was complete. He said the X5 would be at the dealer in 10-14 days. He then called 2 days ago to say that it was in production and it would be here in 2 weeks?? The 1-800 hotline, the customer service rep *and* the website all listed the car as having finished production last week so I knew he had to have gotten some bad information somewhere. I figured it would work itself out. There is a big car show going on here right now and our dealer is working as a rep for the dealership so his mind is elsewhere.

So, late this afternoon he calls to tell us that THE CAR IS HERE! We went and "visited" it at the dealer a little bit ago but it is too dark for pics. They still need to "unwrap it" and then detail it. We will have it on Tuesday! Actually, it works out PERFECTLY because we are expecting some snow here shortly. It's supposed to warm up a bit next week so hopefully no more snow/ice and salt-covered roads!
