I just got some great news...my vehicle has been released to the carrier...Status 82 !!!.
Does this mean "carrier" from Spartanburg to Canada or is the status for carrier within Canada....?

I also confirmed that Comfort Seats are in my car, as Mar prod vehicles will NOT have them anymore

Status 82- release to carrier for BMW Canada (rail) 12 day rail journey(approx) then once it arrives in Canada it will be built into a load to the Dealer(2-4 days). Just a liitle more time!

How did you receive confirmation that the March Production vehicles will not have Comfort Seats? My dealer still has not heard this from BMW. Thanks

when I orderd mine 2 weeks ago, I ordered the multi counter seat,
the next day my dealer called me and said, the multi counter seat are not available anymore, but I can get the comfort seat package instead??
My e70 will be ready late march early april.

I thought the comfort seat was the same as the multi contour seat. If not, is the comfort seat package new?

I thought the Comfort Seats were the same thing as the multi-contour seats. Did your dealer explain what the difference was?

comfort seat package is comfort seat with active ventilation.

Does that mean that the multi-contoured/Comfort Seats are not going to be available as a separate option, but they will be available as part of the Active Ventilated Seat Package option? IF so, I am not sure the explanation of the "supplier bankruptcy" for the shortage makes sense.
