4.8i: Black Sapphire/Tobacco/Bamboo (BAD pictures!)

We picked up our 4.8i on Tuesday night when it was dark and pouring down rain. I attempted some pictures then but they didn't turn out well at all. I had someone else take a few pictures this afternoon before they took it on a short road trip for the weekend but this person was NOT the photography lover that I am and they aren't very good pictures!

In fact, I'm ashamed to even post them because they turned out so bad but I guess they will have to do!

Y-spokes would have been nice but these will do...

Bad interior shots (lighting problems). I will say that the tobacco nappa is absolutely UNREAL. Just awesome!

Exterior shots.

Look how dirty it is already! ACK!

Nice Pics! Looks great.

(on a side note, what did you use to block your plate? When I try to do it, it comes out looking bad and standing out

xnsf- It will be back home on Sunday! Hopefully I can get some better pics then!

trueX5er- Are you running Microsoft? I just used MS Paint. For me, if you right click the picture and roll over 'open with' and then select 'Paint', it will open the picture in MS Paint. Then I just clicked the rectangle and chose the one that looks 'filled in' (I believe it was the 3rd one down) and chose a light gray from the color selector at the bottom. Then you just go to the plate and drag the cursor to make whatever sized box you need. Let me know if you need more instructions!

This car replaces an '01 Suburban as the "family car". The only time we ever FULLY utilized the space in the Suburban was when were travelling. There are 5 "children" (2 of us in our 20s) in the famnily so we always take 2 cars with us everywhere we go. The Suburban was just sitting and depreciating (FAST- thank you, GM!) because we no longer used it as a daily driver after we got an Audi for that purpose. The X5 will now be a daily driver so the Audi will become the 16yo's car when/if she ever gets her license and the Suburban is for sale. When the Suburban goes, we will officially be American car free and 100% German! We'll have to throw a party!
