Multiple Problems with New X5

I've had numerous experiences with a new X5 and it's been in the shop about four of the six weeks I've owned it. Has anyone had to deal with ordering a new car due to unresolved issues? Thanks

Is it E70 3.0 or 4.8? What are the issues you're having? I have an E70 3.0 and the only issue I have is that the Backup Camera works intermittently. It is more annoying than a real big issue.

I've had a couple of small issues; phones vanish from Blue Tooth after being paired and stereo not rotating through all options (either skipping AM or FM at random) when using the steering wheel to cycle through options. I haven't had the car in my possession long enough to confirm if these are now working because it's been in the shop so long trying to resolve a issue with a restraint system deployed warning.

I had my '07 X5 4.8i replaced by the dealer in a trade assist because my first car had too many unresolved issues.

So, is this your SECOND '07 4.8 that's having so many problems? Or, are you reflecting on your experience with your first one that was traded out?

Reflecting on first one. Second one is generally fine. Not perfect, but fine.

Check into the Lemon Laws in your state. Many state's Lemon Law apply if your new vehicle has been in shop for greater than 30 days.

I agree. If it's been in the shop that long, lemon law it and get a new one or something different, depending on how turned off you are. Even if they fix your issues, seems like it's a lemon with some bad luck.

I had x-5 4.4 /06/ for 6-7 mo with multiple issues/ to be more specific one issue that they could not resolve 4 times/ BMWNA and AD were PHENOMENAL and replaced it with x-5 4.8 /07/ within 6 weeks.
Good luck.Alex
