Well, I would stay away from Range Rover. My own experience has not been good with them and I'm replacing a Range Rover with a new X5 and have no plans to ever get another Range Rover again.
As far as the Cayenne Turbo goes, if the extra $ doesn't matter and if your looking for a very fast SUV the X5 won't match the Cayenne Turbo in the power dept but I think the X5's superior in pretty much every other way. There's another post on this board somewhere from a guy that hated his Cayenne Turbo and traded it for a new X5 but i guess that can work both ways.

Stay away from the Range Rover. Take away the power and the Cayenne isn't that special, but since you live in Qatar, if you take your vehicles offroad a bit the Cayenne will be better.

Richone52, what's worng with the RR SC? I am too strongly consedering it vs. the new X5 4.8.... I love RR's exterior and not the greatest fan of the new X5.

I have also heard lots of horror stories about RR. On the other side how many the same type of stroies we hear about BMW.
