Can i lose

Hi there this is my first post so go easy on me.I have just ordered an x3 3.osd m sport for my wife who is disabled and she qualifies for the car at zero rating. That means we dont have to pay the vat so for a £40000 car we pay £33000.we get that on wednesday but i also ordered the new x5 which we will get in june again we dont pay the vat.The dealer has told me that if we take the x3 back in june they will give me what i paid for it which is good for them as we only paid £33000 and they are selling them at £38000 with 6000 miles on the clock. My question to you lot is if i buy a new x5 in june (no vat)will i get nearly my money back if i change or sell it 12 months on with only about 5000 miles

Thanks in advance
