First X5 I've owned so not sure where to start with it
Getting the warped glove box fixed actually
The 3.0si is a good engine, never felt the need for more power IMO. I was a bit skeptical when my dealer suggested ordering the 3.0si over the 4.8, but when I drove it, My mind was set I had the glove box issue as well, not too hard to fix.

i'm actually impressed with the power now that i've got to drive it a little
glove box seems easy to fix but because we just bought it the dealer (non BMW) said he'd cover fixing it, just had to order parts from BMW.
down fall is they are not getting BMW to fix it and the Indy shop said it will take them a whole day to replace the top cover of the glove box
the guy didn't even know how to open it, i mentioned that to the company we have our warranty with and he didn't seem to care which leads me to think they have an account or deal with the Indy shop
does this job really take all day?

It was somewhat overcast here yesterday so not great sunlight in the pic.

^ that's saddle brown interior. For 2007s, only Canada had it unless you special ordered it in the US (I had to). They finally allowed it in December '07.

Interesting to hear you like it better than an E53 despite the difference in power. More refined I take it?
