Are I-Pod/USB & HD Radio Options Still Avail?

The BMWUSA web site "build your own X5" section no longer has the I-Pod/USB or the HD Radio options listed. Both of these options were listed a few weeks ago.

I know that the web site sometimes lags when options are added, but why would these options be removed unless they are no longer available?

Does anyone know if these options are still available?

Yeah I noticed that too. You should call the BMW 800 number and ask them.

That's rediculous, my X5 has HD radio and there are people on this board with the I-Pod interface.
Like i said above call BMW's 800 #and ask.

really? Ok so maybe I was wrong about the HD radio.

I don't think anybody has the iPod interface yet.

The USB Interface is supposed to be available from April Production onwards. It might have been that they took it temporary off the website as they also did with the Brochures, but it will definitely be there as I have it confirmed in my order (with a delayed ship date then.)

I have both HD and I-Pod interface confirmed on my order as well. Though I was supposed to have April production (per my salesman), and it has yet to start production. Maybe these options caused a delay, not sure.

Just called the 800# and the rep said there were no delays showing up on my order, so I'd guess the HD and I-pod interface are both available, at least on current orders.

Same for me. My X5 finished production on 4/9, and it has both HD Radio and the iPod/USB Adapter. No delays because of those.

That doesn't mean there isn't a parts shortage or other problem now which caused BMW to take those options off the website, but there have been numerous rumors of parts being unavailable (comfort seats and 20" wheels are two others that come to mind) that just weren't true.

It definitely exists so I can't imagine that it would suddenly be unavailable. I don't know about HD radio, though I've heard mixed impressions about it anyway.
