Great minds! I'd love to see some photos when you get the car. The aluminium trim looks very nice too, only possible alternative in my mind is the bamboo...not keen on the other wood interiors.

Also went to my dealer launch event, they had 2 cars 3.0d Silver/black with dynamic pkg/media pkg/7 seats and running board and a 4.8 Monaco Blue/beige with Dynamic Pkg/20"/Adpative Drive/Media pack (looking for an owber BTW).
I agree with the previous comments, cars looked great in the flesh. The interior is really nice and the room is really a step forward.
My monaco Blue/Beige is coming in early June and I love that color combination they had on display, the nevada leather is also smoother than what I was expecting.
Overall a very significant upgrade and although a big car, they did a great job in hiding it.
Finally the 3rd row is actually not bad, I will use it only occasionally for 4-6 yrs old with booster and it is perfect for this, especially as it makes the 2nd row very flexible.
Saw few transporters on the M1 yesterday with X5 loads so BMW is trying hard to get customer cars to their dealers.

I've got dark bamboo with saddle brown leather coming through either next week or the week after, Ill post photos of the bamboo, but there are threads with some photos of the bamboo.
Off to my dealer launch tonight and will see what they have.
