As a side note with the V8 I do not think you would get nearly the discount. From what I was told there are only 18 4.8 on the entire west coast where I live and July allocations are filling up.I was only offerred a very few hundred discount.

Good, that's the way it should be... enjoy the car! You're definitely getting a good deal, even after you subtract the duplicated cost of the multi-contour seats. Best I'd heard previously was 2500 off, which is what I ended up getting on a 4.8i. I think it's easier to get discounts off a 3.0, but even for a 3.0 2500 is the best I had heard on here and dealers I talked to when I told them I was getting that much off said maybe on a 3.0, but they couldn't touch it on a 4.8.

im suprised any dealership would offer so much discount. you might want to take a VERY VERY detailed look at the car and make sure there wasnt something you didnt see. i.e. scratches

after accounting for the fact that he had comfort seats and ventilated seats in his price (and assuming the rest of the #'s were correct), it's a discount of $2920. That's a good deal but not "too good to be true" on a 3.0.
