May Lease Deals?

Anyone know if BMW improved their X5 lease deals for May or did they remain the same?

Have not heard yet, but would love to know as I'm expecting mine to be completed next week, so hopefully getting this month. I'm curious to see if they'll really give me the better deal if the lease deals improved or keep me to the rates I locked in when I ordered the car. I assume they can do either one? Not sure if the dealership benefits more one way or the other.

I'll probably call my salesman this week, as I haven't gotten any updates from him since I put in the order and will check on the lease rates for this month.

Spoke to my salesman today and my car is on it's way to NY. Should be there by the end of this week and I should find out if the lease rates have changed at all.

When I picked up my X5 last week my salesperson said that 4.8's are very hard to get and if the May lease rates change for the better it will be only for the 3.0. He said they are out to July and August for ordered 4.8's, who knows we'll see soon enough.

I saw a post on Bimmerfest in the "Ask a Dealer" section---as a sticky, which shows the lease rates for May.

If those numbers are correct, here's what I found on that bimmerfest post and a previous one for April rates for an X5 4.8i:

April 2007
24 Month – Residual 68% of MSRP – .00210 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 58% of MSRP – .00210 Base Rate
48 Month – Residual 36% of MSRP – .00320 Base Rate
60 Month – Residual 29% of MSRP – .00320 Base Rate

May 2007
24 Month – Residual 68% of MSRP – .00230 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 58% of MSRP – .00230 Base Rate
48 Month – Residual 35% of MSRP – .00320 Base Rate
60 Month – Residual 29% of MSRP – .00320 Base Rate
