Aftermarket DVD

Has anyone found a suitable solution for an aftermarket DVD that does not disturb the Comfort seat headrests? Perhaps a portable DVD with some type of bracket system that attaches to the headrests posts? I do not want to loose my comfort seat headrests so the Invision system is out. I've heard all the talk about Invision it's just not what I want. The Advance DVD will not work with the factory system (don't know why) I have the factory DVD system, but I am tired of cleaning vomit out out my car since it makes my daughter motion sick looking down. If I could find a solid headrset mount (not straps) I could probably retrofit a screen.

Unfortunately for all, BMW's Comfort Seat "Pillow" Can not be reproduced by anyone, so your best/safest option at this point is probably just to go out and purchase an iPod Video or Ipod Touch. It is by far safer than a velcro strap onto existing headrests and less damage will be caused in the event of an, god forbid, accident! I am proud to say INViSiON is now the official supplier for DVD systems for the BMW X3 and our new system can now be seen at every BMW dealer in North America. Check it out!

Have you got the sunroof? If not, roof mounted DVD player is the way to go, see my install here ;

The bonus is that it can be seen by the 3rd row of seats, and because it's roof mounted, no motion sickness. I've got this hard-wired for power so it comes on with the car, and it plugs in to the aux-input for audio. It also works with four sets of IR headphones so if we don't want to play the DVD through the stereo, kids can listen to the film whilst we have music on in the front.

Works great.
