What does it really cost the dealer?

I would appreciate some help from you guys....

I was due to pick up my new E70 on the UK release day, but when I arrived the X presented to me was the wrong one it was missing a number of options (which i had ordered) as a result of the dealer incorrectly inputting my requirements and I ended up being offered a lesser spec X.

To cut a long story short I didnt take the X but came to an arrangement with the dealer.

That was to reorder an E70 with an MSport upgrade using their first allocation (September delivery) and in the meantime have full and personal use of a brand new 730d SE, which was going to be their demo vehicle, until I recieve my new X.

My question is to all you guys in the know, What does this use of their demo car actually cost the dealer. I am interested to know to judge how much of a comprimise they have given.

I would appreciate any feedback from you guys on this deal in real terms.

Thanks in advance.
