My dealer says I can get "multi contour seats". I don't think they are the same as comfort seats though. (Canada) If you are in the middle of negotiations, does your dealer know?

Are you sure? Do they have the 20 adjustment with the articulating upper back?

its just a naming confusion...the old name was "Comfort Seats"...they are now called "20-Way Multi Contour"

...so yes, correct if you are trying to order these you should ask for "20-Way Multi Contour" not Comfort. They have never been called "Comfort Seats" on the E70.

Does BMW actually call them Comfort seats, or is it your dealer. The BMW website in the US has refered to them as "Multi Contour" since the E70 released.

I'm no expert, but based on what I've read here, the comfort (multi-contour) seats appear to be available only in the US at the moment. If you look carefully, every poster that has complained about the unavailability of comfort seats has been posting from outside the US. While every poster that says they are still available has been in the US.
