07 4.8i Aftermarket Exhaust

I've been patiently waiting since taking delivery of my X5 a few months ago for someone to come out with an aftermarket exhaust for the 4.8i since the stock setup is quite tame. The only one I've seen is the Hamann system. Has anyone else seen or heard of an aftermarket exhaust system for the E70 yet? Any in development that you know of?

You'll be waiting a little while probably. I'd imagine Dinan is building one but any after market exhaust is going to be very $$$.

I spoke to the guys at AC schnitzer today, they have a full package for the E70 for release in 2 weeks. They will send me the pics when its released.

Will installing the after market exhaust affect the factory warranty in any way?

It depends who makes it for example, ACS or Alpina maintain the warranty. Others fitted may effect the warranty although it will not void it it will effect your warranty covering the exhaust or defects consequential to fitting or running with that particular exhaust.

BMW also did their own after market exhaust for the E53.

You just need to do your research before deciding.
