Water Leak front passenger

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has a problem with their car leaking water, i just got the 3.0L TD and have a major leak in the front passenger side, have taken it to the dealer and they indicated the door membrane was not sealed properly, however the leak is still there and appears to be coming down from the windscreen. Is this a common problem or am i just unlucky?

On the inside

Yes on the inside the original leak was so bad i though i had purchased the optional swimming pool. The water was sitting in a large pool in the passenger floor well.

What year? This is common on early X5's via the sunroof drain tubes.

I would check sunroof drain tubes and front windshield seal.

Had the same problem on my previous 2002 3.0. Dealer replaced the sunroof housing and the problem disappeared.

Can I get some advice on how to find the sunroof drain tubes? I've opened the sunroof and searched all around the well that apparently catches water seepage, but I just cant find anywhere that the water would escape from that channel.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
