The 8 month wait is over
I will take delivery of my US spec 3.0si X5 tomorrow in Germany. It is sapphire black with tobacco interior, premuim and sport package, heated comfort seats, heads up, premuim sound, ipod adapter, rear tinted windows, and comfort access. It has been an eight month wait. Will post pic soon. Thanks for all the info.

congrats! 8 months is a crazy waiting period! I feel guilty only waiting 4 weeks!
Please try to post as high a quality pictures of the interior as you can! I've got tobacco also on order! If you can, avoid using flash, which I think makes the color look flushed.
