Tobacco interior with what color door and panels

O.K. now I am confused. I have on order a Metallic Bronze Platinum X5. I chose the Tobacco leather interior with Poplar woor trim. What color are the plastic panels and carpet going to be? I have seen some that are matching tobacco color (which I prefer and want) and then I have seen some photos of tobacco leather and then black plastic and floor carpet color. How do I know what I will get???

I'm somewhat confused about what trim goes where as well. I've seen the support columns near the windshield a different color than the trim, which I guess is fine, but it didn't match the dashboard black either.

To borrow from another user's pic... how come the trim color of saddle brown only accounts for the seats and some part of the door panel?

How come others have their floors the same color as their trim ?

The door trim bpillars etc. My dealer said the only option now was for the leather to be tobacco and the carpets, trim etc. black. He actually showed that to me on the official BMW order sheet. I did not like that combo and asked him to see if it could be all tobacco. So I am hoping mine arrives all brown!

My dealer here was convinced it was going to be a "true" two tone black and Tob as well. I tried to convince him he was wrong but he never got it.

Simply, The dash, and the tops of the doors are black, everything else is Tobacco. now, that being said, the headliner / b pillars will be different depending on the options you choose. For instance, the sport has the anthracite headliner, hence perfect match... Not sure how the non sport is.

Hope this info helps.

All the Tobacco interiors that I've seen (both pictures and in person) have Tobacco leather, Tobacco carpets, Tobacco seat backs and Tobacco plastic trims. I have not seen any two tone Tobacco/Black interior.

I know this is what some of you prefer, but I wish that it was available in a two tone version. After having single color interiors on all my previous BMW's and now a two tone Auburn/Black on my E60 I can honestly say that the two tones with black as the secondary color look much sharper and better. This is coming from a person who absolutely HATES black interiors, yet the combination of a primary color for the leather and black for the carpets, lower dash/console, back of the seats, and upper/lower door panels looks great.

If BMW does not offer any new interior colors in the US next year we would still go with Tobacco, but I would much rather have a two tone interior than a single color one.

Thanks for the feedback, so I think I am expecting the tobacco on most things. I do have the sport package and know the roof liner will be anthracite. I just did not want black carpets or door bottoms, etc., as where I am in a ski town in Colorado, black interiors and our environment don't mix! (Light colored mud and dust in spring an summer).

i'm pretty sure that everything below the beltline is tobacco colored...

...do you think you may have confused it was a non-US color like saddle brown?

No I did not confuse it with the non-US color saddle brown. The BMW dealer has a standard order form they fill-out to send the factory. When you select Tobacco it tells you the only option is "Tobacco/Black." I was a little bummed as I wanted all tobacco. However, according to the feedback on this thread I am pretty sure/hope mine will arrive all tobacco. I will let you know when it arrive hopefully next week. Can't wait.
