Where is the fuse?

Anyone know where the fuse is for the front auxilary power (cigarette lighter). I need to replace it.

Thanks.

couldnt find mine either...brnging it in next week for service to find it.

There is a panel under the front passenger footwell, but I could not find any docs on what they are for. I posted photos in another thread.

at the rear of the car one of those compartments on the right side...there is a fuse panel right there. check and see if any of those are blown. or just bring the car to the dealership, as i'm sure it still under warranty

I actually want to tap into the lighter fuse for a direct wire accessory.

I found the fuse legend. It is a small white piece of paper attached to the side of the rear fuse block. Pull it out and it gives you the locations of the fuses and what they are for. I haven't checked the front passenger side block, but I am pretty sure it will be there.

Can we just wire our radar detectors into one of the fuse locations in the passenger footwell fuse panel?

I like to put my radar detector near the dash, not up high on the windsreen. I like to hide the detector wire where the dash meets the windscreen and then run the wire down the side of the dash and normally hook in at the passenger footwell. Most cars have auxillary fuse outlets down near or around the passenger footwell. The X5 has a fuse panel there, just no maps as to what each fuse is for. Does anyone know?
