Question Question for those that have the aluminum running boards
I have the 07 X5 with the running boards, Today I noticed that some of the little black rubber dots were actually recessed [From where pple stepped on it]. Are they supposed to protrude a little bit or are they supposed to be recessed [ I can actually push in all the remaining black dots with my finger ]

This seems odd to me bc dirt, snow, pebbles, ice w/e will go into the holes?

I had this installed at the dealer, so maybe they forgot something?

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks u guys.

Does not sound normal. All are supposed to stay same no matter how much you step.

running board pegs
mine did the same thing. dealer replaced the running board.
